DARCO makes several types of medical footwear, each with a different purpose. The right choice depends on the protection you need, whether you have a cast or dressing, and your treating clinician’s instructions.
The MedSurg is an open-toe post-operative shoe with adjustable fastening to accommodate bulky dressings. Its square front helps protect the toes, while the reinforced sole provides support beneath the forefoot. It can be worn on either foot and is supplied as a single shoe.
The All Purpose Boot offers an enclosed-toe design with room for bulky dressings and many fibreglass casts. Adjustable fastening helps secure the fit. It can be worn on the left or right foot and is supplied individually.
The adult SlimLine Cast Boot fits over casts and bulky bandages. Its adjustable fastening accommodates the extra bulk, while the higher ankle strap helps keep the boot secure. Check the adult product’s size guide before ordering.
The children’s SlimLine Cast Boot provides an adjustable fit over a child’s cast or bulky dressing. Refer to its separate children’s size guide and follow your child’s treating clinician’s advice about use.
