The DARCO Body Armor Heel Reliever is a non-weight-bearing heel suspension boot designed to offload pressure from the heel whilst resting in bed or lying on the back for extended periods.

By suspending the heel and redistributing pressure along the calf, it may assist with pressure management and help protect vulnerable skin. Its seamless internal construction is designed to minimise friction and shear, while the adjustable design allows the fit and offloading position to be customised.

The Heel Reliever is available with a choice of two internal foam surfaces:

  • Flat/Smooth Foam: designed for people with sensitive or fragile skin

  • Convoluted Foam: features a contoured, egg-crate-style surface to promote airflow and provide a cooling effect

Both versions provide the same heel suspension and pressure-redistribution function.

This product should be selected and used under the guidance of an appropriate healthcare professional, particularly when managing an existing wound, diabetes-related foot complications, reduced sensation or impaired circulation.

Choose Your Foam Liner

Flat/Smooth Foam Liner

The flat foam option has a smooth internal surface and has been developed specifically for sensitive or fragile skin. It provides an even contact surface along the supported areas of the foot and lower leg.

This may be the preferred option when minimising surface texture against the skin is a priority.

Convoluted Foam Liner

The convoluted liner has a textured, egg-crate-style foam surface. The spaces within the contoured foam are designed to improve airflow around the supported areas and provide a cooling effect.

This may be the preferred option when ventilation and heat management are priorities.

If you have an existing wound, fragile skin, reduced sensation, impaired circulation or complex pressure-care requirements, the liner should be selected in consultation with your healthcare professional.
