Archline Supination Orthotic Insoles – Full Length for High Arches
Archline Supination Orthotic Insoles provide contoured support and cushioning for people who tend to load the outside of their feet. Designed for supination, also known as underpronation, these full-length insoles combine Archline’s signature arch support profile with an integrated lateral wedge.
A supportive thermoplastic shell and EVA base provide structure, while the deep heel cup helps cradle the heel. The Ortholite and microfibre top cover adds cushioning, breathability and moisture management for everyday comfort.
Suitable for walking, running and daily wear in footwear with enough room to accommodate an orthotic.

Who Are These Insoles Designed For?
Archline Supination Orthotic Insoles are designed for people with an outward-loading foot pattern who require a lateral wedge alongside arch support and cushioning.
They may suit some people with high arches, but high arches do not automatically mean you need supination insoles. Your foot movement, symptoms and footwear also matter. If you’re unsure, your podiatrist can help determine whether this design is appropriate.
Size & Footwear Fit
Refer to the size chart in the product images before ordering. Check the relevant men’s or women’s sizing column carefully.
Choose footwear with sufficient depth and width for the insoles. Where appropriate, remove the original removable shoe liner before fitting your orthotics.
Fitting instructions:
-
Check the insoles inside your shoes before trimming.
-
If the forefoot is too long, use the original shoe liner as a template.
-
Trim gradually at the toe end, checking the fit as you go.
-
Leave the thermoplastic shell, arch support, heel cup and lateral wedge intact.
-
Ensure the insoles sit flat without curling or bunching.
Begin with short periods of wear and increase gradually as comfortable. Stop using them if they cause pain, rubbing or increased discomfort.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are supination insoles?
Supination insoles are designed for people who place excessive load along the outside of their feet. This Archline model combines arch support and cushioning with an integrated lateral wedge.
Are supination and underpronation the same thing?
Underpronation is commonly used to describe a foot that does not roll inward sufficiently during walking or running, leaving more load towards the outside. Supination is a normal foot movement, but excessive or prolonged supination can contribute to this outward-loading pattern.
Are these suitable insoles for high arches?
They may be suitable for some people with high arches, particularly when a supination-specific design is required.
What does the lateral wedge do?
The lateral wedge changes the support beneath the outside of the foot to influence foot position and pressure distribution. Its suitability depends on your individual foot mechanics.
How do these differ from Archline Balance insoles?
The Supination Orthotic includes the support features of the Archline Balance design, with the addition of an integrated lateral wedge.
What are the best insoles for supination?
The best option depends on your foot shape, movement, symptoms and footwear. Look for an appropriate combination of cushioning, support and fit.
Does wear on the outside of my shoes mean I need these?
Not necessarily. Shoe wear alone does not confirm excessive supination or establish that you need a lateral wedge. A podiatrist can assess your walking pattern and recommend an appropriate option.
Can I use them for walking or running?
They are intended for walking, running and everyday wear, provided they fit comfortably inside your footwear and suit your support needs.
Can I trim these orthotic insoles?
Yes. The forefoot can be trimmed at the toe end. Do not cut the supportive shell, arch section, heel cup or lateral wedge.
Are they sold individually or as a pair?
Each pack contains one pair of full-length orthotic insoles.
Please note: These are prefabricated orthotic insoles. If you have persistent pain or are unsure whether a supination orthotic is suitable, seek advice from your treating podiatrist.
