Find your starting shoe size with the Genuine Brannock Foot Measuring Device – Centimetre, a professional shoe-fitting tool calibrated on a centimetre-based sizing scale.
Available in Adult and Junior models, it assesses heel-to-toe length, heel-to-ball (arch) length and foot width to support footwear fitting.
Important: The centimetre scale indicates a shoe size with an allowance for toe space. It does not provide a direct, linear measurement of foot length in centimetres. Do not treat its reading as a ruler measurement.

Understanding the Centimetre Scale
The reading provides a starting shoe size on Brannock’s centimetre scale. It should not be entered as measured foot length into a footwear chart that specifically requests a ruler measurement.
Check how the footwear manufacturer defines its centimetre sizing and confirm the fit in the actual shoes.
Why Is Heel-to-Ball Measurement Important?
Feet of equal overall length can have different arch proportions. Assessing heel-to-ball length helps account for where the ball joint sits relative to the shoe’s flex point.
How to Use the Brannock Centimetre Device
Adult Model
-
Open the width bar and retract the arch pointer.
-
Stand evenly weighted, with your heel against the appropriate heel cup.
-
Read at your longest toe.
-
Align the arch pointer with the inner ball joint.
-
Generally use the larger length reading as the starting size.
-
Read width at the selected size.
-
Repeat for the other foot and fit the larger foot.
Junior Model
Follow the manufacturer’s positioning instructions. Set the width slide’s arrows at the selected size, then read the line aligned with the widest part of the foot. Infants require a separate measuring method.
