Duofilm Wart Treatment Solution 15mL
Duofilm is a topical treatment for common and plantar warts. Its dual-action formula contains salicylic acid and lactic acid, which work on the thickened surface layers of the wart to help gradually remove affected skin.
The 15 mL bottle includes an applicator brush for precise, once-daily application directly onto the wart.

Active Ingredients
- Salicylic acid 16.7% w/w
- Lactic acid 15% w/w
Directions for Use
Apply Duofilm once daily, preferably in the evening before bed.
- Soak the affected area in warm water for approximately five minutes.
- Dry it thoroughly with a clean towel.
- Carefully rub the surface of the wart with a nail file, pumice stone, emery board or rough washcloth. Do not rub hard enough to cause bleeding.
- Using the supplied brush, apply a thin layer of Duofilm directly to the wart.
- Avoid applying the solution to the surrounding healthy skin.
- Allow the solution to dry completely.
- A large wart or wart on the foot may be covered with a plaster after the solution has dried.
Repeat the treatment daily until the wart has disappeared and the normal skin texture has returned.
Visible improvement may occur within one to two weeks, although the maximum effect generally takes four to eight weeks. Do not continue treatment for longer than 12 weeks without consulting your doctor or podiatrist.
Important Information
Always read the label and follow the directions for use:
- For external use only.
- Use only on common warts.
- Do not use on moles, birthmark or unusual skin growths.
- Do not treat warts over large areas at one time.
- Duofilm may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and other sources of UV light.
- Sun exposure should be limited by using a sunscreen and by wearing protective clothing.
- Transient stinging or irritation may occur when using Duofilm. If irritation persists, discontinue use.
- If you have sensitive skin, test Duofilm before applying it to a large area.
- Speak with a doctor before using Duofilm on a child aged between two and 12 years. Application to children should be supervised by an adult.
Do not use:

if you are allergic to any of the ingredients of Duofilm.

on children under two years of age

on face or anogenital regions

if you are diabetic or have impaired circulation

if the wart or skin surrounding it, is red, irritated, broken or infected.
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.
Duofilm is flammable. Avoid smoking, flames and other sources of ignition during and immediately after application.
If significant irritation develops, discontinue use and speak with your doctor or podiatrist.
Keep out of reach of children and store below 25°C.
