Their structured UCBL-style design includes a deep 30 mm heel cup, medial and lateral flanges, medial rearfoot posting and a medial skive. These features are designed to provide firm, contoured support and help improve rearfoot stability inside suitable footwear.

Unlike general cushioning insoles, littleSTEPS provide a more structured level of support. They may be considered when a healthcare professional has recommended a prefabricated orthotic rather than a custom-made device.

Choosing a Size

Use the printable littleSTEPS sizing chart to select the appropriate size. Print the chart at 100% or Actual Size and do not select “Fit to Page,” as changing the scale can produce an incorrect measurement.

Place the child’s heel on the marked line and compare the foot with the coloured outlines. The orthotic should correspond with the foot length without extending beyond the toes.
